Tom became one of our associates in 2006 and is a highly experienced consultant with a successful track record in strategic and operational management, business transformation and change, managing people, total quality and business improvement. He has worked with organisations in the public, private and voluntary sectors.
He has been an assessor team leader for many EFQM awards programmes, working closely with the British Quality Foundation (BQF) and the EFQM for over 20 years to promote excellence and business improvement. Tom is an EFQM Certified Advisor and has assessed and supported organisations of many sizes from multi-nationals to medium and small businesses across a wide range of sectors including health, education, IT and telecommunications, rail, automotive, logistics, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, construction and voluntary/not for profit.
Tom is very experienced in helping organisations to implement ISO management system standards and achieve certification to them. Having knowledge and expertise in a wide range of these standards, he is especially skilled in integrating them, both with each other and within an organisation’s strategy, helping them to use the standards to support the achievement of strategic goals and successfully manage the related multi-standard audits and certifications.
As well as having Lead Auditor status for the three core management system standards ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment) and ISO 45001 (Health & Safety), Tom has qualifications in the application of ISO 22301 (Business Continuity) and ISO 27001 (Information Security), with a very successful track record in helping organisations achieve and maintain UKAS accredited certification (Ley Hill Solutions works only with Certification bodies that are UKAS accredited).
