Ria Daly joined ley hill solutions in April 2023 as a Management System Consultant after a period of international travel. Prior to this, Ria worked for over 7 years at the UK’s leader in high-quality raw dog food, Paleo Ridge.
Her experience at Paleo Ridge gave her a wealth of knowledge in the meat and poultry industry and led her to champion Food Safety. Through continued rapid growth and scaling, Ria was appointed to help develop the Business Continuity plan.
As a former Senior Technical Manager at Paleo Ridge, she managed compliance for several accreditations, certifications and governing bodies, working with: HACCP, Organic Farmers & Growers, Ethical Award and ISO9001:2015. She was heavily involved in implementing ISO9001 into the business. Ria holds a Lead Auditor qualification for the ISO9001 Management System Standard. Her most favoured project was developing a new industry standard for Raw Dog Food alongside a board of experts.
She managed the first-ever export of Raw Dog Food into the UAE and helped brace the business through the import and export issues as a result of Brexit.
On a volunteer basis, Ria worked with The Girls Network to train as a mentor and then mentored a teenager through her academic studies.
