Ley Hill Solutions made a significant impact at the 50th anniversary of the Business Show, showcasing their expertise and commitment to supporting SMEs. The event, which brought together entrepreneurs and established businesses, saw Ley Hill Solutions providing invaluable advice on sustainability, health and safety, information security, and food safety.
The highlight of the show was the £100k Launchpad initiative, where fifteen shortlisted start-ups pitched their innovative ideas for a chance to win a £100k prize package. Ley Hill Solutions, a key supporter of this initiative, was deeply involved in the process, listening to pitches that ranged from sustainable pregnancy tests to apps designed to assist autistic children with everyday tasks.
The competition culminated in a final showdown between three impressive start-ups: Audiimax, Hoopsy, and Letterbox. These finalists presented their pitches to a panel of esteemed entrepreneurs, including Simon Squibb, Ben Askins, Chelsy Baker, Rachel Elnaugh-Love, and Tommy Mallet. After a tense deliberation, Letterbox Cocktails emerged victorious, with Niki Copperwheat accepting the prize on behalf of the organisation.
Ley Hill Solutions is excited to support Letterbox Cocktails over the next 12 months, leveraging their extensive experience in sustainability standards, health and safety, food safety, and information security to help the start-up thrive. This partnership underscores Ley Hill Solutions’ dedication to fostering innovation and growth within the SME sector.
