ISO 9001 is being updated

ISO 9001:2008 will become 9001:2015 at the end of this year and the standard will gradually be used for all existing certification audits so organisations with the current standard need to be prepared.

We are currently working with organisations with less than 20 people up to those with over 2000 who are already looking at the effects of the changes on their management systems. In some cases we are building new management systems that are compliant to the currently issued Draft Internal Standard (DIS) so that come the time for their stage 1 certification audit they can be one of the early adopters of the new standard. Of course as soon as the standard is formally released we can review their systems and check there are no major changes to those identified in the draft.
